Recent frontiers in phone design have been largely focused on the display, with an attempt to either give us a full screen display with zero bezels or fully utilize flexible displays and come up with foldable phones. In order to achieve as much display as possible while maintaining the phone size, various phone manufacturers have tried different approaches, according to how far their engineering capabilities could take them. The biggest challenge in achieving a full screen display has been the selfie camera, whichbis now a must have smartphone spec, the earpiece and the infra red sensors. While many manufacturers decided to go for a notch to house these components, Samsung decided to go for a more advanced hole-punch displ

These are the new Nokia feature phones released by HMD Global

The New Nokia 220 4G HMD Global, the company behind Nokia has just released two feature phones, the Nokia 220 and 105. The 220 is 4G enabled while the 105 is only 2 G. What I like about Nokia is their consistent inclusion of the 700 MHz spectrum, commonly known as band 28 in its 4 G phones. This makes them compatible with Jio in India and faiba in Kenya, well known for their free 4G calls and VoLTE compatibility. The main interesting feature about these two new Nokia phones is their huge battery capacity, which is claimed to last up to almost four weeks. Though the 220 does not support this band, it is still good news that the phone supports 4G volte. In regions where there is no 4G network, you will have to be contented with 2G, since it does not support 3G. Nokia 220 4G key specs. Network: 2G and 4G. Tecno Phantom series: All Tecno phantom phones released till date.

Tecno have just released the much awaited Phantom 9, a true 2019 midranger with some of the best specs that can only be  found on a high end device. Some of these including a full HD AMOLED display, an AI triple camera set up and 6GB of RAM. This awesome spec sheet puts the Phantom 9 well at the top of the Phantom series, which is Tecno's flagship series. Founded in 2006, Tecno now has presence in over 60 countries, well known for it's affordable smartphones with a focus in developing countries including Africa and parts of Asia. What has made Tecno successful in these markers that tech giants struggle to penetrate is their focus on the specs that matter most in such regions including large battery capacity, large screens and affordability. In oder to stamp it's presence in this market which was then largely dominated by Samsung, Tecno launched a number of smartphones in 2013, a gamble that paid off. Among the over 10 phones it launched that year was what was going to be th
