 After a short period of Waiting, Oppo Reno 5 is finally available in Kenya with an initial price of Ksh. 41,999. The device was unveiled in the country today by Oppo Kenya in a live YouTube event attended by a number of key Kenya celebrities. Fist announced December last year and released January this year, the Oppo Reno 5 is a mid-range smartphone with a number of high end specs including a nice display, a powerful processed and one of the best fast charging technology in the mid-range smartphone segment. The phone features a 6.43 inch OLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2480 pixels. This is the same display resolution as many other mid-range Smartphones including the recently launched Samsung Galaxy F62, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20FE, Tecno Camon 16 Premier among other devices that fall between Ksh. 25,000 and Ksh. 65,000.   Oppo have just unveiled their latest member of the Reno 5 family; the Oppo Reno 5F which made it's world debut in a launch event held in Kenya. The Reno 5F now becomes the latest of the Oppo Reno 5 series  joining the Oppo Reno 5 5G, Reno 5 4G, Reno 5 Pro and the Reno 5 Pro Plus.  In an online YouTube event, Oppo for the first time teased a new device in Kenya becoming the first such event in Africa. And the Oppo Reno 5F was not alone, but was accompanied by Oppo Reno 5 which was yet to launch in the country. While there's very scanty information about this new device,  Oppo Kenya  gives us a sneak peek of what to expect as from March 22nd.   In April 2019, Oppo announced what it was going to be it's new flagship smartphone, the Reno 10x zoom. The phone was later released June this year, and officially took over from the Find X as Oppo's flag bearer. On 23rd July this year, the Reno 10 X was launched in Kenya with an initial retail price of Ksh.89,999. That's quite a huge sum, though we would expect less of any flagship device.
