Asus have launched their latest flagship gaming Smartphone; the Asus Rog Phone 5 which has some of the best specs including a Snapdragon 888 processor and advanced gaming features. 

It is the predicessor to last year's Rog Phone 3 and is already selling at Flipkart with a retail price of between Ksh. 71,499 and Ksh. 114,399 depending on the memory size. 

The Rog Phone 5 features a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and a pixel density of 395 ppi. Being a Gaming-centric phone, it has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 300 Hz touch sampling rate making it's display one of the most sensitive ever in a smartphone. It also has gaming tricker pressure sensitive zones to enhance your gaming experience. 

The phone ships with Android 11 atop the ROG UI and is powered by the powerful 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the best smartphone processor so far and already powering a number of flagships including the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Oppo Find X3 and the OnePlus 9 Pro among other top notch smartphones. 

You can choose between a number of memory Variants including 8+128, 12+256, 16 + 512 and 18 + 512 GB. The Rog Phone 5 is one of the first 18GB RAM phones together with the Nubia Red Music 6 Pro. You can also choose between Phantom Black and Storm White colors. 

In the camera department the Rog Phone 5 comes with a total of four Cameras, three at the rear and one in front. The rear cameras are made up of a primary 64MP wide lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro lens. Supported Camera features include LED flash, panorama and HDR. It can also shoot 8K and 4k videos. At the front is a single 24MP camera which more than enough for your selfie needs.

The phone is powered by a non removable 6,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charge support and 10W reverse charging. The fast charge can achieve 70% charge in 30 minutes and full charge in 52 minutes.

The Rog Phone 5 is not yet available in the country but is already live in Flipkart. The 8+128GB retails at RS. 49,99 which is approximately Ksh. 71,499, the 12+256GB at Ksh. 82,939, the Rog Phone 5 Pro with 16 +512GB @ Ksh. 100,099 and the Rog Phone 5 Ultimate with 18GB RAM and 512GB storage goes for Ksh. 114,399.
