The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 is a top budget Smartphone chipset launched January 2020 together with the Snapdragon 460 and Snapdragon 720G.
It is an 11 nm fabricated Chipset with Kryo 260 CPU that has a top clock-speed of 2Ghz. It also features the Qualcomm Snapdragon X11 LTE modem with peak Download Speeds of 390 Mbps and Peak Upload speeds of 150 Mbps. It also supports WiFi calling with call continuity between LTR and Wi-Fi.
The Snapdragon 662 can support a Full HD+ display of 1080 x 2520 pixels @ 60 Hz or HD+ of 900 x 1600 pixels @90 Hz.
The Motorola Moto G9 was the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 662 chipset. The phone was announced and released August last year. Immediately other brands released their own phones featuring The chipset as from September.

Motorola Moto G9.
The Moto G9 is a budget phone from Motorola with a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also features a Triple rear cameras made up of a 48MP primary lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh non removable battery with 20W fast charge.
Oppo F17.
The Oppo F17 was the first Oppo phone to spot the Snapdragon 662, and has some of the best specs compared to other phones with the same processor.
It features a 6.44 inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the same as the Oppo A73. It also has a Quad rear cameras and a single 16MP selfie camera. The rear cameras are a 16MP primary lens, an 8MP Ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP depth sensor.
It is powered by a 4015 mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charge that can deliver 50% charge in just 30 minutes and full charge in 53 minutes. It also comes with an in-display Optical fingerprint sensor.
Oppo A73.
Just like the Oppo F17, the A73 is one of the best Snapdragon 662 smartphones with a 6.44 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution and available in two memory variants of 4+128GB and 6+128GB.
It has a similar camera specs as the Oppo F17 and the same 4015 mAh battery with 30W fast charge.
Motorola Moto G9 Power.
The Moto G9 Power was announced November and Released December 2020. It has a 6.8 inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ display resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It has a triple rear camera setup made up of a primary 64MP lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a single 16MP lens.
It is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with 20w fast charge, the same as the Lenovo K12 pro.
Xiaomi Poco M3.
The Poco M3 has a 6.53 inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD display of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the same as the Redmi 9T. It is available in a number of memory variants to choose from with either 4 or 6GB RAM and 64 or 128GB internal storage.
It also comes with a 6,000 mAh battery with 18w fast charge, the same as the Redmi 9T.
