HMD Global yesterday announced a number of their latest phones including the Nokia C10, Nokia C20, Nokia G10, Nokia G20, Nokia X10 and Nokia X20. While the C10 and C20 run Android go edition, the other phones run regular Android 11 Software.

The Nokia C10 is a 3G Android go smartphone with a number of similarities with the previously Launched C series phones but has a more trendy Waterdrop design and a bigger display.

The Nokia C10 is expected to have a price of between Ksh. 9,500 and Ksh. 11,000 once it becomes available in the country. It's key specs are:
  • Price: Ksh. 10,000.
  • Screen size: 6.52.
  • Memory 1/16GB, 2/16 or 2/32GB.
  • Processor: Unisoc(28nm).
  • Cameras: Single 5MP rear camera and a single 5MP front camera.
  • Battery: Removable Li-po 3,000 mAh. 
At that price the Nokia C10 has a number of  Competitors include the Nokia C2, the Infinix Smart 5, the Tecno Pop 3 and the itel S16 as well as Safaricom's Neon Smartphones.
The Infinix Smart 5 currently sells @ Ksh. 8,999 and has a 6.6 inch display, 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage plus a much bigger battery of 5,000 mAh. However it's major drawback is the highly bloated OS that comes with lots of preloaded apps and annoying ad pop ups.

  The MediaTek Helio G95 is a mid-range gaming chipset released September 2020 as the successor to the 2019 Helio G90T.
