Released May last year, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is now available in Kenya with a retail price of Ksh. 23,499. It is a budget phone that has a number of improvements as compared to it's younger sibling the Redmi Note 9 including a bigger display, better protection as well as a much powerful processor.  

The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 6.67 inch IPS LCD screen slightly bigger than the 6.53 inch of the Redmi Note 9 and the same size as the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It also comes with a Full HD + display of 1080 x 2400 pixels the same as other Xiaomi budget phones including the Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 8 Pro making these phones the very few high quality display budget phones. The phone is powered by a non removable 5,020 mAh battery with 33W fast charge much better than the 18W in the Redmi Note 9.

The 6+128 GB Redmi Note 9 Pro is currently retailing at Ksh. 23,499 making it one of the cheapest considering it's specifications. There's no doubt you will get value for money and is definitely a good deal if not the best. 

At this price the Redmi Note 9 Pro competes with the likes of Nokia 5.4, Tecno Camon 16 Premier, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s, realme7i and the Samsung A50 among others. Currently the Infinix Zero 8 has  a retail price tag of Ksh. 28,697 with 8GB and 128 GB storage, Tecno Camon 16 Premier Ksh. 28,697 with the same storage and the 6GB/128 GB Xiaomi redmi Note 9s retails @ Ksh. 23,999.
