Design.
As expected of a flagship phone, the Vivo X60 Pro is tall, huge and smart, with more of a rectangular design with a punch-hole display that gently curved on the sides. Ithas a premium Design made up of a Glass front as well as a glass or eco-leather back. On it’s part the realme GT is also well designed but it’s plastic back is a huge sacrifice which was more of a necessity in order to achieve a much more affordable price.
The X60 Pro Plus measures 158.6 x 73.4 x 9.1 mm while the realme GT measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4 mm. This means that the two phones have almost the same height and width buth the realme GT is much slimmer. They also have almost the same weight with the realme GT weighing 186g and the X60 Pro Plus 191g.
Display.
The realme GT has a 6.43 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It supports 120Hz refresh rate and has a pixel density of 409 ppi which is pretty good for a phone at this price. On It’s part the X60 Pro Plus has a 6.56 inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2376 pixels resulting in a pixel desnity of 398 ppi. It also Supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and has a maximum brightness of 1300 nits so it can be used in all lighting conditions including directly under the sun.
Cameras.
There’s no doubt that the cameras are the greatest selling feature for the Vivo X60 Pro Plus with it’s Zeiss Optics branded lenses that produces excellent shots in all lighting conditions. Be it normal shots, zoomed in pictures or macro shots, the X60 Pro Plus delivers excellent shots and is among the top camera Smartphones 2021. The rear cameras are made up of a primary 50MP lens, a 8MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x Optical zoom and lastly a 48MP Ultrawide lens.
Another great feature of this phone is the inbuilt Gimbal Stabilization system that comes in handy when shooting videos. The phone can record up to 8k videos @30 frames per second. In front is a single 32MP selfie camera that produces very excellent shots that many selfie cameras can’t match. It can also record 4k video content. The realme GT has a Primary 64MP wide lens, an 8MP Ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. While the performance of these cameras is as expected of a phone at it’s price, it doesn’t have what it takes to rival those of flagship phones like the Vivo X60 Pro Plus. Vivo did their best to give us very good cameras and their hardware as well as software performance makes the camera performance of this phone rival that of other flagship phones. It’s Gimbal Stabilization and Zeiss Optics branded lens is a clear indication that this is one of the best camera phones around.
Software performance.
Both phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, the chipset of choice for high end 2021 smartphones. They also have the same memory capacities of 8+128GB or 12 + 256 GB. They also feature the Android 11 atop their respective UI and both don’t have SD card Support
So technically speaking we would expect the same performance between these two phones.
Battery life.
While he realme GT has a 4,500 mAh battery, the Vivo X60 Pro Plus has a slightly smaller 4,200 mAh battery. It is not clear why Vivo decided to sacrifice battery capacity yet at 9.1 mm thick this phone is one of the bulkiest flagships around. Therealme GT Support 65W fast charge which can deliver 100% charge in just 35 minutes while the X60 Pro Plus has a 55W charge Support.
