Released October 2020, the Xiaomi Mi 10T is one of the best affordable 5G phones already available in the US for around $399.99. Other Mi 10 phones include the Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and the Mi 10 Ultra.
The Mi 10T features a 6.67 inch IPL LCD Screen. Though it would have been great if Xiaomi had given us an AMOLED display, it still features some of the best display specs including 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ and 500 nits brightness. which is sizable for anyone and fits in your arm comfortably.
The display resolution of this phone is a Full HD+ of 1080 x 2400 pixels which is almost the standard resolution of most phones at this price range. The phone also has an impressive 395 ppi pixel density making it good for gaming as well as watching movies.
The phone is made of a Gorilla Glass 5 both front and back with an Aluminium frame giving this phone a desirable built quality and durability. However the phone is not IP rated.
Measuring 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.3mm the Mi 10T is slightly taller and thicker than the Mi 10 as well as the Mi 10 Pro. It is also the heaviest of the three at 216g. The extra dimensions and weight could be largely attributed to it’s bigger 5,000 mAh battery.
Being a 2020 phone it ships with Android 10 atop the MIUI 12 OS. Thankfully the phone is Android 11 just like the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The Mi 10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5g, a powerful 5g processor that is also found in a number of phones including the Oppo Ace 2, Black Shark 3, Black Shark 3 Pro, Asus Rog Phone 3 and ZTE Red Magic 5G to name just but a few.
Unlike many other phones that have a wide range of memory sizes to choose from, the Mi 10T is only available in two memory variant of 6+128GB and 8+128GB available in either Cosmic Black or Lunar Silver.
In the camera department the Mi 10T comes with a total of four cameras three at the back and one in front. The rear cameras are made up of a primary 64MP wide lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro lens. In front is a single 20MP selfie camera.
The camera performance of this phone is quite good and you will love the power of this phone once you hold it in your hand. You can also record up to 8k videos.
The Mi 10T is powered by a non removable 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge which is slightly slower than the 50W charge in the Mi 10 Pro.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Price In The US.
The 6+128 GB Mi 10 T retails at around $399.99 . It is available in a number of major retaio stores in the US and if you take your time to check it’s price in a number of stores you might be lucky to get a better deal.
At this price the Mi 10T has a number of Competitors including the Redmi Note 9 5G, realme V15 5G and the recently launched realme GT among other affordable 5G smartphones.
