Nokia G10 now available in the US. Here are the Specifications and Price.

 The Nokia G10 is now available in USA for $149.99. The phone is the first of the Nokia G series and one of the six phones announced by HMD Global in April 2021. Others were the Nokia C10, C20, Nokia G20, X10 and X20.

While the C series are entry-level Android phones, the G series are budget phones and the X series are at the higher price spectrum.

The Nokia G10 features a 6.52 inch IPS LCD screen, the same size as that of the G20 and the C10. It also features a HD+ display expected of a budget Android phone. It has a 720 x 1600 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 269 ppi, exactly the same as the C10, C20 and G20.

It runs Android 11 and is powered by the Mediatek Helio G25, a budget Octa-core processor with top-clock speed of 2.0 GHz. It is the same chipset in the Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Motorola Moto G7 among other budget Smartphones.  The processor is backed by either 3 or 5GB in the G10 both with 32GB of internal storage. The storage is quite small going by this year's standards and while it can be expanded via an SD card I still feel Nokia should have just given us 64GB in this phone.

The G10 features a Triple-rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens supported by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth Sensor. While I can't say much about their performance since have not tested them, I won't expect much from such camera resolution.

For a long time we have been complaining about the small battery capacity that always come with Nokia Phones, and for the first time we have a 5050mAh battery in the G10 as well as the G20, becoming the first Nokia phones to have a battery size of over 5,000 mAh. It also supports 10W fast charge, and just like the cameras am not exited about it.

The Nokia G10 is now available in US and you can get one at any of your favorite store. At the time of publishing this post Nokia store is selling the 3+32GB Nokia G10 @$149.99.

Considering it's price and spec list, the Nokia G10 will  face a lot of competition from a number of phones including Nokia's own Nokia 3.4, Nokia 2.4 as well as other similarly priced phones from Motorola, Realme and Xiaomi. There are also a number of Samsung phones at this price range.
