Oppos Mesh talk technology good news for users but not so for network operators

Oppo meshtalk

Oppo, the brand known for its revolutionary selfie camera technology has been fighting too hard to proof itself among the few world renowned tech giants and it's efforts could be almost paying off.
While all the focus was on the under screen camera launch, Oppo decided to throw another surprise when it announced it's latest invention known as the mesh talk technology.
At the MWC Shanghai on Wednesday 26th, Oppo said they have invented a way that can allow it's users send text and make voice calls without any cellular network, WiFi or Bluetooth connection.
Though this will be quite useful during emergency situations, I am certain that no network operator will welcome this move like they rushed for 5G, and it is for two obvious reasons.
The mesh talk will allow Oppo devices within a 3 Km radius communicate directly with each other by creating an ad hoc local area network(LAN), and this can be extended through a signal relay.
This will allow free calls text and group chats without the need of going trough a local network operator.
One, if this technology, is further developed and implemented, it means all you will need to make free calls is just a phone. No more airtime purchase or data expenses.
Though the Mesh technology creates a kind of a local network and uses phones within a given region to send the signal to it's desired destination, Oppo says it is quite secure and bypasses base stations, thus network operators won't have any control over the technology and hence your information.
There is a likelihood that this technology will utilize the ISM band, wich is usually dedicated for short range communication currently being utilized by Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and others.
Usually this band don't require licensing, another reason that it might not get much support from key tech players.
As we are eagerly waiting to know more about this mesh networking, let's hope no one is already thinking of using any means to undermine it's growth for their selfish gains, but let's welcome it the way we welcomed computers and recently 5G.

How to Withdraw Money from Skrill directly to your Mpesa account.

Skrill is gaining popularity among Kenyans making it one of the most preferred international money transfer service, greatly loved by bloggers, freelancers and gamblers a like. One advantage that Skrill has over PayPal is that Skrill accepts money transactions with various international gambling and brokers like Olymp Trade. If you are a Kenyan working online and for one reason or another you can't use PayPal, then Skrill is there for you, and to make it much easier, Skrill allows you to transfer money directly to your Mpesa account or to any registered Mpesa User.
