Vivo Y30G price in Kenya and Specifications

Vivo have launched the Vivo Y30G, a budget Smartphone with a retail price of Ksh. 24,999. It becomes the latest of the Y30 series with the Vivo Y30, Y30 Standard Edition and Y30 Chinese Edition already available in the market.

The Y30G features a 6.51 IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9 pixels. The display Quality of this phone is as basic as it gets, typical of any budget smartphone with a pixel density of 270 ppi.

Despite the basic display, the phone is beautifully designed with a minidrop notch that houses a 8MP selfie camera. The top and side bezels are very slim with a thick notch at the bottom that is well curved out thus doesn’t affect the overall look of the phone.

At the back is a rectangular camera module that houses a dual camera setup consisting of a primary 13MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Knowing too well that many phones at this price range come with either Triple or Quad cameras, Vivo added a third circle just below the 2Mp camera to make you think the phone has three Cameras but in fact is just but a circle.

The Y30G is powered by the Mediatek Helio P65, a budget chipset already featuring in a number of phones including the Samsung Galaxy A31, Vivo Y19 and the Galaxy A41 among other budget Smartphones. The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM, an overkill for such an entry-level processor. There’s 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 1T via an external SD card.

The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charge and also comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
